ARMHS 3.0, Support Posts
DHS requires you to use a progress note to bill for time spent on the FA and ITP. We apply the same concept to the DA as well. So the top-level process is this:
Diagnostic
- Schedule ARMHS 01A – Intake Progress Note (billable) on the calendar for when you worked or are working the DA
- Open the ARMHS 01 – Standard Diagnostic Assessment from the client’s chart to start work.
- Sign the ARMHS 01 – Standard Diagnostic Assessment when you’re done
- Click the notepad icon on the ARMHS 01A – Intake Progress Note (billable) appointment, make sure the billing details are right and complete the note. Save, Sign & Submit if available otherwise Save & Sign
Functional Assessment
- Schedule ARMHS 02A – Progress Note – FA on the calendar for when you worked or are working the DA
Open the ARMHS 02 – Functional Assessment from the client’s chart to start work.
- Sign the ARMHS 02 – Functional Assessment when you’re done
- Click the notepad icon on the ARMHS 02A – Progress Note – FA appointment, make sure the billing details are right and complete the note. Save, Sign & Submit if available otherwise Save & Sign
Individual Treatment Plan
- Schedule ARMHS 03A – Progress Note – ITP on the calendar for when you worked or are working the DA
- Open the ARMHS 03 – Individual Treatment Plan from the client’s chart to start work.
- Sign the ARMHS 03 – Individual Treatment Plan when you’re done
- Click the notepad icon on the ARMHS 03A – Progress Note – ITP appointment, make sure the billing details are right and complete the note. Save, Sign & Submit if available otherwise Save & Sign
Progress Notes
The BLSS and other notes are all directly billable, so they only require that you schedule the appointment with the form selected tha tyou like.
A few things to note:
- The DATES of each note are incredibly important. Please make sure to take time and get the dates right.
- E.G. If you don’t update the Treatment Plan date and it’s March 21st, then you try to complete a BLSS on the calendar for March 18th, the system will tell you there’s no ITP because DHS requires the treatment plan to be done (i.e. dated and signed) prior to the date of the BLSS.
- Forms are not considered valid unless they are signed
- Make sure you set the Client and Provider Locations correctly
- Always add travel time in the progress note if applicable
