About BreezyNotes

“With my past EHRs, every progress note I wrote involved extra steps. With paper it was three steps: See the client; take the note; and send the claim to insurance. It should be at least that simple electronically.”

-Jim Jonas, LICSW, LMFT, Chief Managing Officer of BreezyNotes

BreezyNotes EHR is the brainchild of therapist Jim Jonas, LICSW, LMFT, Clinical Supervisor and his son, Communications Professional Paul Jonas.

As Director of The Jonas Center, Jim was acutely aware of the lack of  EHR software for mental health practices with clinical functionality, usability and simplicity as core tenets of its design. What did exist was either too expensive, too complex or it didn’t fit well with the mental health practice model. Together, Jim and Paul aimed to change that.

Three Simple Steps

Under Jim’s guidance, the clinical interface and core clinical processes took shape. BreezyNotes allows therapists to complete sessions in three simple steps:

1. Schedule a client.
2. Write a progress note.
3. Sign your note and submit to insurance with one simple click.

Easy Billing

The clinical side of running a mental health practice is hard enough. Even with great software there’s a lot of complexity to be addressed after a claim is submitted. So we combined the efficiency of BreezyNotes EHR with a great billing staff to offer BreezyBilling™ — a Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) service with lots of mental health billing experience.

Best of all because of the inherent efficiencies, BreezyBilling customers get our EHR software free fo charge. Find out more about our RCM here.
