BreezyNotes EHR Launches Revision 1.6, Adds Repeat Appointments, a Revised Diagnostic Assessment, & More

This weekend, we will launch Revision 1.6 of BreezyNotes EHR ℠. The new revision will make it even easier for group and solo behavioral health practices to perform daily tasks.

A number of key features were the result of feedback from users.

“This new revision is going to be great,” says BreezyNotes COO Paul Jonas. “There’s something for everyone, but the bottom line is that managing a practice gets even easier regardless of whether you’re a solo practitioner or a group.”

Key features of the new revision include:

1. Updated, Clinician-Reviewed Diagnostic Assessment

Our previous diagnostic assessment was based on the Minnesota Department of Health’s Standard Diagnostic Assessment. It met most customers’ needs, but in this case we worked with clinicians to streamline the user interface and expand it to address family functioning, school, and better documentation.

2. Advanced Scheduling

We added a simple yet powerful tool for creating repeat appointments that integrates seamlessly with the same click and drag functionality our users love. Therapist appointment categories were expanded to more readily show when a clinician is available to be scheduled.

3. Therapist Commission Report

Now, with just a few clicks, clinic directors can generate a report that shows exactly what to pay contractors based on their commission rates. It is fully customizable  per therapist, and the report can be segmented by facility, provider, payment type, and payment date.

4. Multiple Service Locations

In addition to different billing facilities, practices with multiple locations can now differentiate between service facilities when scheduling appointments.

5. Insurance Authorization Simplification

Working with EAPs or insurance authorizations? Revision 1.6 lets you add a modifier along with the rest of the authorization information. No one-off code updates for every encounter to slow you down.

6. Speed Enhancements

BreezyNotes is all about getting you from scheduled to billed as quickly as possible. We went back through the code of some key areas in that process to make it faster and more intuitive to use.
