Wow. Time flies! It’s hard to believe we’re celebrating two years on November 5.
Of course we gave away a ton of truffles again this year, added some cool features (Custom Forms!), and continued development on the Client Portal, but the main focus over the last year has been on BreezyBilling™–our Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) service offering.
In 2016 we realized that therapists’ (and Office Managers’!) other pain point beyond overly complex EHR software was keeping their revenue cycle reined in. Dealing with claims and payers and all the weird situations that can come up in the world of healthcare is the rare therapist’s cup of tea. And for the ever-busy Office Manager or Administrator, it’s just one more time-intensive “hat” they have to wear.
Mental health billing services, we concluded, would greatly reduce stress for practices of all sizes. We started a beta program in late 2016, and we launched in January of 2017. With the efficiencies of knowing the EHR software so well, we can offer the BreezyNotes software for free while keeping rates low. BreezyBilling has grown steadily ever since.
Looking back, it’s amazing how much can happen in a year. We look forward to what next year will bring!
