If you watch our social media, you may have noticed that our COO, Paul Jonas, is growing a beard. You may be wondering, “Why is Paul growing a beard?” Or more likely, you’re probably wondering, “Why are you blogging about Paul growing a beard?”
The Cause
Paul is growing out his beard for the Minnesota Polar Plunge in support of the Special Olympics.
For the last month, Paul has raised money to support this organization that provides opportunities for so many people to be successful. To provide some incentive, Paul has pledged to grow a beard one day for every $50 he raises (something he’s attempting to coin a “beardsly”). So far, Paul has been able to raise enough for 39 days of growth! That means his beard will keep on growing for at least another week. Not bad for a first-time bearder.
