What We’re Thinking About as We Prepare for the APA 2016 Annual Convention
We’re excited to take BreezyNotes EHR® to Denver next month for the 2016 American Psychological Association (APA) Annual Convention! If you’re attending the APA convention, we hope you’ll stop by our booth, number 172. We’re working right now on some games and giveaways for you to enjoy!
Of course at any conference we love to talk shop. Except, it can’t all be about our practice management application. But, there will be a number of other interesting conversations happening at the show this year.
Here’s a few that we’re interested in:
How is psychology changing?
This year’s President’s Address encourages psychologists to both embrace and be a part of disruptive change in healthcare and in society.
So, how will psychologists change in their roles? How could psychologists change healthcare in general? Will this change what a psychologist needs from their electronic health records?
What’s your practice’s workflow?
We always want to hear how clinicians run their practices, whether they use BreezyNotes, paper, or another EHR, because listening to clinician feedback makes EHRs much better.
Need an EHR with a therapist’s workflow? Then you should try BreezyNotes EHR.
How many solutions does it take to manage your practice? Is your payment system integrated with your billing and/or practice management system? What about scheduling?
What’s the problem you run into most often when billing insurance?
When you bill insurance, there’s always seems to be a new problem to deal with. With our founder being an LMFT, an LICSW and the director of his own multi-provider practice, we’ve seen quite a few.
So, if you’re at the show, stop by our booth. If you’re not, feel free to drop us a line on Twitter, Facebook or LinkedIn and vent a little about the problems you run into the most or the one you discovered while rushing to finish up claims before vacation. Maybe we know a few tricks you don’t, or maybe you can teach us a new trick or two!
Do you use your EHR to improve client care? If so, how?
It’s easy to view EHRs as simply a way to bill and store notes electronically. But, it’s possible to use the information you store in an EHR to improve client care.
If you already use an EHR application to improve client care, we’d love to hear about what you do and how it helps your clients. If you don’t, we’d love to talk about what could be done to make an EHR application more useful to you.
Where should we eat?
Food is soul of any city. Being out-of-towners, we’d love to get some good Denver grub recommendations. Send us your recommendations via Twitter, Facebook or LinkedIn!
We’re looking forward to APA in Denver next month!
