If a Progress Note Can’t be Signed

You cannot sign an ARMHS Progress Note if an ARMHS DA, Functional Assessment or ITP is “Due Immediately.” If you cannot click “Save & Sign,” then you need to revisit whichever document is “Due Immediately.”

Each ARMHS Progress Note has a set of rules that must be met in order to be considered “valid” and therefore billable:

ARMHS DA

  • Must have a signature
  • Must be less than one year old

Functional Assessment

  • Must have a signature
  • Must be 180 or fewer days old

ARMHS Individual Treatment Plan

  • Must have a signature
  • Must be 180 or fewer days old
  • Must have either “Client Signature on File” or “Client Guardian Signature on File” set to “Yes”

Providers have 30 days from the date of the ARMHS Diagnostic Assessment where all ARMHS Progress Notes can be signed without a valid Functional Assessment or ARMHS Individual Treatment Plan.
