Document a Phone Call, No Show or Any “Other” Type of Appointment

From time to time you need to document other types of interactions with a client. Most often clinicians want to document a No Show or Late Cancel or perhaps a phone call.
Here’s how to document a point-in-time or chargeable event:
- Open the Appointment Window by clicking on the colored part of existing appointment OR simply drag and drop the client to create a new appointment.
- Change Appointment Type to “Other”
- Select the appropriate Billing Code
- Click Save
- Click the Notepad icon () to go to the Encounter Summary
- Click the Edit button on the Client Encounter form.
- Enter your note and click Save.
- Click eSign to finish documenting the note.
