Fix Yellow Appointments that “Should” be Green

There are a few reason an appointment might not turn green on the calendar when expected. If this is the case, it’s often because a payment has been improperly recorded for a cash client or a full payment has been made before entering remittance advice from the insurance company.

If this happens in the future and the client is paid, but the appointment remains yellow, you can follow these steps:

  1. Note the encounter you’d like to update
  2. Go to Billing > Client Encounters and filter or search for that client or encounter
  3. Check the box to the right of that encounter
  4. In the Actions dropdown box select “Mark as Cleared”
